What will you learn?

What if technology could understand people the same way we understand one another?

For leaders, AI might often come across as a challenge rather than an opportunity when it comes to human relationships. However, it is crucial to understand how it affects us on an emotional level and as humans in general.

During this webinar, we learned from Affectiva co-founder and CEO, Rana el Kaliouby, about Emotion AI — the technology that analyzes human expressions and reactions in context.

Rana first gave a keynote, where she focused on themes such as:

  • How to humanize technology before it dehumanizes us
  • How to prioritize diversity and inclusion
  • How to overcome the voice of inner doubt

As she recounted her personal story as a scientist, entrepreneur, and Muslim woman inventing this new field in a technology world dominated by men, we also discussed the topics of women in business, diversity, and inclusion.

Her keynote was followed by a Q&A session, where anyone in the audience could ask questions.
